My life journey began in Istanbul in 1971.
Although my master’s degree in Business Administration gave me a strategic perspective, my real school has always been the projects I have produced and my experiences in the field.
Imagine a time when the digital world was still in its infancy, and the word “Google” was just beginning to be heard… That’s when my professional journey truly began.
It’s been a full 25 years since I entered this world. I’ve designed websites, tried to unravel the mysteries of search engines, and witnessed the digital growth of numerous businesses.
Over the years, freelance projects —both successful and unsuccessful attempts —followed one another. But they all taught me something.
In short, I come from the heart of this industry.
Instead of just using my experiences in my work, I wanted to share them with a wider audience through books.
The Turkish book I wrote in 2009, titled Web Design Guide, received significant attention in the industry and was reprinted eight times.
A year later, in 2010, I wrote Turkey’s first SEO book, which filled an important gap in the Turkey at the time.
In 2011, I wrote a book about Joomla, a widely used content management system.
Knowing that thousands of people in Turkey have benefited from these works over the years as they develop themselves is a great source of pride for me.
So what about now?
I have retired from corporate work.
But that passion for sharing has never faded!
I now want to share my 25 years of experience in Turkey’s digital marketing industry with the world in English.
These days, I create content on digital marketing and write on my blog, and conduct training sessions.
Supporting newcomers and helping people take solid steps in their digital career journeys is my greatest source of motivation.
